Ken Baxter

Ken Baxter founder and owner of Performance Marketing America (PMA), he began his housing career by hiring, training and motivating a staff of nearly 100 new home specialists at Heartland Realty in Salt Lake City. PMA dominated the market for over a decade, outselling the top five local real estate companies combined. In the 1980's, working seamlessly with builders, lenders, FDIC and the RTC, Performance successfully liquidated all of the REO high rise inventory in Salt Lake City. In 1990, an incredible opportunity prompted Mr. Baxter to move his company to Las Vegas. With his leadership, PMA quickly became a driving force and the number one new home marketing company in the Las Vegas Valley. He has been directly responsible for more than seven billion dollars in new home sales volume. He provides PMA clients with four decades of new home selling and marketing experience. Ken attended Brigham Young University and the Builder University. He is currently chairman of the Eagle Scout Recognition Committee and escorts America's future leaders to Nellis Air Force Base for private performances of the USAF Thunderbirds. Mr. Baxter is a sponsor of the Andre Agassi Foundation and, as part of the Ken and Linda Baxter Foundation, has contributed to scholarship programs at both Southern Utah University and the University of Nevada Las Vegas. With an uncanny ability for forward thinking and identifying trends, Ken is the first founder of Virgin Galactic, a trail blazing company dedicated to making the dream of space tourism achievable for the general public. He has also contributed his time and resources to Guardian Scientific Africa, a company providing low cost, much needed rapid AIDS test kits to developing countries. Mr. Baxter is also an active advocate in the war against global warming and is a big supporter of Sir Richard Branson's efforts to bring awareness to this cause.
